What did you want to buy anyway? That sucks a lot.

...It was a partners in time cart.

Sucks because those ebay scalpers sell it for insane prices and I was actually about to get it for a good price. Believe it or not this was actually my second attempt at buying one, the first time I got scammed with a counterfeit and I had to return it (the seller was very cooperative though, probably had no idea they sold me a counterfeit).

Might want to put this on hold for now, especially considering I already have the Wii U version (which isn't the best, but it works i guess). Still a ton of other great DS games I never got to play.

Wow, that sounds like incredibly rotten luck. I wish you luck in securing a legit copy of the game.

Eh, it's just a cheesy abbreviation for "cartridge", that's all.

Have you tried Amazon?

The cheapest offers there are around $33 and they're not in the best condition.

This endeavor reminded me of the hunt for a Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time in brick and mortar a while ago; it was released for a while before I finally got interest in it (I think at the time period, I was transitioning from a Luigi fan to a Baby Luigi fan). I eventually had to settle with an online purchase, which I believe was the first time I ever purchased anything online?

And then, I remember seeing one in a Toys R Us years later. I was....why.

Yeah. Brick-and-mortar stores are definitely more reliable to buy from (plus, no shipping fees!), but once a game goes out of print, you'll have a hard time finding it there.

I might have a used cart of PiT at my moms, that if is there I'll be willing to sell. I'll call her and ask. The DS one yes?
