I will die on this hill: Mario Party Advance is a very fun game. Shroom City is a fun location and everything oozes some kind of charm.

I do think how hated Mario Party Advance is does seem a bit overblown, because at least it tries something new. Such as that the idea of having characters to travel to with personality is a good one. I've never played it. I remember seeing a video where apparently one minigame is literally watching a stick fall though, so that doesn't seem too compelling of a premise lol

Imagine if there were more groups of water-type starters working with law enforcement like the Squirtle Squad. We could have had the Totodile Troop, the Mudkip Militia, the Piplup Party, the Oshawatt Ops, the Froakie Force, the Popplio Parade, the Sobble Strike Force and the Quaxly Crew.

    Roles of each team:
    Squirtle Squad: Breaking up riots.
Totodile Troop: Pursuit and apprehension of suspects (imagine being chased by a Feraligator).
    Mudkip Militia: Ambushing criminal meet-ups
Piplup Party: Raids (Using Empolions wings to slice through barricades).
    Oshawatt Ops: Assistance during Firefights.
Froakie Force: Same as Piplup Party.
Popplio Parade: Calming down hostages and people caught in crossfire.
    Sobble Strike Force: Police Snipers.
Quaxly Crew: Same as Popplio Parade.

I politely decline, for fear of getting brutally murdered and be replaced by a doppelganger that wishes for nothing less than the execution of everybody aboard the ship.

Woohoo Hooniversity is arguably the creepiest location in Superstar Saga. When you reach it, the faculty have been turned into Laser Snifits, which we see UP CLOSE mind you.
