I'm so excited to fly home next month and get out of the Midwestern summer. It is way too hot for my liking pretty much every day.

My second book is officially finished with 22 chapters, 399 pages, and 92,099 words. I might still go back and do some editing, as well as add some more to the ending scene, but for tonight, I'm happy and I'm going to take a break.
I beat Digithreat. I can't believe it.
Listening to a song from 1994 on loop to celebrate getting 94% on Digithreat.
It's surreal to me that the book I'm working on is only about four chapters away from being done. I'm so proud of my ability as a writer and I'm really excited to be able to share it.

Re: Wii Sports Resort RAM, somehow the data I'm looking for is just nowhere to be found. I know based on my knowledge of how games work that the spawn order for the CPU Miis in Swordplay Showdown has to be in the RAM somewhere for it to work, but either it's nowhere near where I've been looking or it's in a stupid format that I can't recognize. It seems dumb for them to use some kind of encryption on what's essentially a list of IDs but whatever.
I definitely did not stay up until 4:00 AM last night looking at the RAM of Wii Sports Resort just to not even find the data I was looking for.
As of today, my account is old enough to have an account of its own.
Can't believe I have to fiddle with RAM again except this time it's even more annoying because the data I need is only in RAM when one particular sport (in Wii Sports Resort) is actively being played.
Pride month came early this year.
You mean to tell me people have nightmares about Mario 64? I just woke up from a really fun dream about Mario 64 where I was playing tag on Tiny-Huge Island and my movement was really good. Even the layout of the level was pretty accurate in the dream.
It took until page 271 but I finally figured out a title for my second novel.

The credits music in this game just doesn't hit nearly as hard as the original game. Which I suppose is a high bar to pass when the Tomodachi Life 3DS credits theme is one of the few songs that can make me cry.
Guess who got accepted to start a second program to get a postbac certificate in literature.
I'm still in shock that they made the proposal minigame a shmup of all things. Guess the timing minigame from the 3DS was just too basic.
I now have Digithreat (my new hardest in GD) completed in three runs. I'm at 52%x3, 52-78, and 78-100. I totally would beat it within the next couple days if not for 52 being the world's dumbest and most inconsistent choke point and 78 just not always working.
Having 34% and 79-100x5 on a new GD hardest after not playing it in a couple months feels pretty good.
Currently listening to a song called "Sleeping Satellite" and wondering why it sounds like a star from Mario Galaxy. I think it's because I'm thinking of "Shrinking Satellite."
They said it couldn't be done but after six years of me owning this game, I've officially completed a custom Mii mod for Wii Party U as of about ten minutes ago.
I love how I can tell my TV to go to an input and it will just sit there acting confused and never actually do anything.
Smart TV, by the way. Smart. This is what we're calling smart. -
