Hate to say it but earlier schedule means better sleep and longer life as well as more motivation in life. A good rule of thumb is go to sleep within one hour of sundown, and up within one hour of sunup. Gotta be thoughtful about other people's schedules tho.

Not necessarily. Sleep at the same time, wake up at the same time. Dim lights before you sleep. Avoid naps longer than 30 minutes. Avoid using bed for any activiy besides sleep. Sunlight helps you wake up. Daylight Saving Time ravages people's health especially at March (thank the genius who decided to push it earlier) but also during July when the sun falls at 8:30 pm.

For me the sun sets at 3:30 PM in the middle of winter and 9:20 PM in the middle of summer.

All of that is good advice and I know I should follow it but I'm sure I'll never be good at it. The only reason I'll start doing any of it is because I have classes to go to in the morning that I would miss if I slept in but I don't have those today.
