Does anyone seem to think that the events in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will actually be part of a story that Rosalina is reading to the Lumas? It would strongly indicate that the video from the following X post will be the very beginning of the movie, and it would even reference Super Mario...
I did try out the online gameplay earlier this month, and it's one heck of a mess if a player who starts with 3000 points can end up in a room filled with 8000+ point players. And good luck trying to get in 1st place even once, because item spam will always find a way to send you from 1st place...
I suppose that one way to resolve a plot hole is if the story begins with Bowser escaping from Peach's Castle (courtesy of Kamek's assistance), while Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad are having dinner with Mario's family. When they learn of Bowser's escape (the Toad General would show up to deliver...
I have yet to play the game, but I'm already rather disappointed that you can no longer use the Control Pad to steer your vehicle. That's not good if your controller's Control Stick suffers from drifting issues.
So there are 40 vehicles, but only 20 different stat groups. And based on the data that I've seen, only the acceleration stat is capable of achieving a 3.8/4 rating; speed can get up to 3.4/4; weight can get up to 3.2/4; handling can get up to 3/4.
This truly does feel strange, especially when...
Definitely a strange decision, but it seems that your character reverts back to his/her original outfit (or at least the outfit that he/she was wearing before using the first Dash Food) upon transitioning over to the next course.
It would probably make sense if the sequel is named "The Super Mario World Movie", just to coincide with the first movie being named "The Super Mario Bros. Movie".
It does feel rather biased when reviewers don't take the time to look at the things where a game falls flat at. In terms of Mario Kart World's shortcomings (so far)...
Vehicle customization has been ditched completely, which can be very disappointing for those whom actually liked the approach...
Unfortunately, custom items turns off the Spiny Shell icon on the map, meaning that you're literally blind to any incoming Spiny Shell attacks, much like in the older Mario Kart titles that lacked item spy features.
But if there's one thing that I really don't get about MK8 and MK8DX is why the...
To be honest, it can feel baffling that the Nintendo developers would decide to ditch features in later games (such as abandoning the vehicle customization features from MK7 and MK8 completely), instead of expanding on them further. And as you said yourself, moderation has improved since the...
When you think it over, there's probably a good reason why custom emblems never returned; players could potentially make inappropriate images with the feature.
Ironically, in the original Mario Kart 8, the most abused online combos didn't even look all that ugly (such as seeing the Blue Falcon use the Slick tires). Of course, MK8's meta was speed focused, while MK8DX was mini-turbo focused.
