I've played every game in the series except the Gamecube one. I've always wanted to make a fan game that takes most of the microgames and turns them into real games. Perhaps one day I can.

Not trying to target your statement, be defensive or derail the thread. However, it is difficult for me to simply make the claim "they were being lazy", especially for a game like this. Even if it is true, there are other factors. Sometimes things are rushed even slightly because of deadlines...

I can conclusively say that NSMB2 is worse. Neither of the games are necessarily bad. However, NSMB's concept was interesting, but the finished product lacked any incentive. To be honest, my main problem with the NSMB series is that ever since after NSMBWii, the series has become just watered...

Re: Nintendo Direct Thread I remember hearing somewhere that there will be future Nintendo Directs. There really does need to be one soon that gives information on the upcoming games and confirms games in America.

I meant just the skin. But to be honest, they could cap how many poison mushrooms you could do Unfortunately, I believe that is copywritten...

I'm so excited for this game. The story is so hilariously ridiculous, it's good. Plus, I like the fashion element and I can see some funny things happening online at least. What the heck? Why? This game doesn't even have voice chat or anything. The only explanation I could see is for lag. Have...

I would like for there to be a Lost Levels skin, as it does have some key differences from the regular Super Mario Bros. Nevermind what I said before Yep

So, how would you make a slope option then? Any ideas?

Isn't Yoshi's Island a Yoshi game though? I think the slopes could work. I think the reason why they were omitted is because it would be hard to find an actual good way to differentiate it from steps. Edit: Are you serious? Then why did they...? (-_-)

It's mostly because there isn't much Toad would be able to say to them, if they have no significance to the Super Mario series. Don't mean to derail conversations to other things in the topic, but I find the fact that you can't make world specific levels and gimmicks to be extremely crippling...

Personally, I find this game along with the Splatfests to be kinda, meh. I don't see much incentive to participate in Splatfests yet along the online mode. All you can unlock is clothing and weapons through regular gameplay, and Splatfests only give you superseasnails, which I don't really find...

I'm surprised for there to not be a thread of this game yet. Essentially, it is monster-catching RPG. However, instead of controlling their individual attacks you assist them in healing, strong attacks and targetting. There's also sidequests and dungeons. As for the anime, it focuses more on...

I thought I heard people saying it (not here, outside of the forums). Although to be honest, fans will often say stuff like that. "This isn't ____" It's simply because they have their perception of what the series is that they believe very strongly in. It's just there is an unfortunate fact that...

Can someone please tell me how this isn't a metroid game or at least a spinoff?

My main problem with this game is that many characters have very vague, lame or similar projects as you get through the game. It starts to feel like filler content.
