Try to go to Device Manager, navigate to your adapter (not your connected device), go to Properties, go to Power Management and turn off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

if everything goes as planned, 2017 might be the new best. Considering that BotW is out, A Hat in Time, Yooka-Laylee, the new Splatoon, and Super Mario Odyssey are all announced to be released later this year.
