What's Super Mario fans' thought about SMG4 series?

I mean, I personally prefer Level Up over SMG4 since it's more faithful to the franchise but that's just me.

Well, I guess this is a better place to put it, but I never saw it coming.

On December 27th, 2025, SMG4 will be posting their final video, one last movie as a proper sendoff.

Good riddance. He and his brother really shot themselves in the feet by turning into the view-hungry losers we've seen in the last couple of years.

End of an era, loved the early days of the channel but stopped watching when they introduced all the anime characters and drama arcs.

Wishing them well to both them and Glitch Productions.

I used to watch this every week when a video posted. The shift became gradually noticeable by the time the first arc rolled around. The second was when things got ugly.

All in all, I'm both sad and relieved that this series is over.

I used to watch them, but stopped shortly after the "It's Gotta Be Perfect" arc. Nowadays, I don't care about the channel, or GLITCH. I stopped watching them because I thought the formula was getting boring and all the other problems that people were noticing. Now I see them as "the fanbase that invades every corner of the internet whether you like it or not." because I swear I can not go a single day on the internet without seeing a character from either channels. Truly the most invasive fanbase to ever exist. It got so bad to the point that on my userpage, I used to have an Angry DK with text reading something along the lines of "I HATE SMG4 AND GLITCH GRRRR" but that was before I learned to control myself on the internet.

In conclusion, I agree with the user above me, except more relieved. The show ran its course and should have ended a few years ago.

Is the channel gonna be deleted afterwards?

I think he said the videos will remain so you can go back and watch them as much as you want.
I doubt it's gonna be that way. Plenty of time to change your mind within the deadline

surprising that Nintendo still hasn't come knocking on the Lerdwichagul Brothers' door for their continued usage of Mario characters in their SMG4 video's in spite of how big the Lerdwichagul Brothers have gotten in terms of video production and the like. SuperMarioLogan, an even more controversial channel

Tbh, I assume it's valid to convert licensed characters into original ones, like they did to Meggy who began as an Inkling.

So not sure why they don't do that to Mario&co in order to keep the series alive.

Well, whatever the case, there's no use dwelling on it now, since the series is over, and the whole thing has been put out of its misery that its view-hungry loser creators let it suffer from in the first place.
