Hm, is this anything like St. Nikolaus? That's on the 6th, though (i.e. tomorrow), at least in Germany. (Looking forward to that; we get presents on St. Nikolaus here (before getting presents yet again on Christmas Eve), not sure how it is elsewhere.)

St. Nikolaus and Sinterklaas are pretty much the same.
The only differences I can think of is, Sinterklaas comes with a steamship and is at December 5th, St. Nikolaus is at December 6th.
