Club Nintendo Newbie - Looking For Answers

Goomba
I am a Club Nintendo newbie. Yes, I read and re-read the F.A.Q. on the CN site but still have unanswered questions:

1) So, as of right now, ONLY Nintendo published games are eligible? I know that seems pretty clearly indicated but someone told me they registered Zack & Wiki?
2) Have non- Nintendo published games ever been eligible (Zack & Wiki?) Is there any indication they will ever be eligible?
3) How come if only Nintendo published console and handheld titles are eligible - the same is not true for WiiWare? I have had two non- Nintendo published games earn 10 coins (Cocoto Platform Jumper / World of Goo)
4) Are some games eligible for a time but then expire? Or once a title is eligible, it will always be eligible?
5) Are any previous generation titles eligible? (GameCube, Game Boy Advance and other former systems)
6) Is there anywhere online that I can find a continually updated list of all eligible titles?

I don't know for America, but for Europe:
1. Yes. It's possible Z&W are are published by Nintendo, not sure about that.
2. No. No.
3. WiiWare is a downloadable software, not on a DVD, so it can't include these things.
4. As for Europe, titles registered prior Wii's release never expire, while after it do. It's about the Stars, the codes continue to work.
5. Yes, as far as I know, I got 250 Stars for registering Wind Waker in 2008.
6. Wikipedia?

1) So apparently Zack & Wiki was published by Nintendo in Australia but nowhere else.

2) That makes sense, no rewards program would promote another company's product.

3) Apparently some WiiWare titles have post-play surveys. The three that did seem random:
Super Mario Kart
Cocoto Platform Jumper
World of Goo

Why did those have 10 coin surveys but non of the following purchases did?:

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
DoReMi Fantasy: Milon's DokiDoki Adventure
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
Internet Browser
LostWinds
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Super Mario 64
Super Mario World
Toki Tori
Wario's Woods

4) I don't mean coins themselves, I just meant eligibility. As in - if I register Super Mario Galaxy 2 five years from now when the Wii's successor is out, will they not accept it?

5) Well, hasn't Club Nintendo been out in Europe longer?

6) Can't seem to find a place - but apparently all games released from 2008 on include PINs.

When did PINs begin? I'm going through my old games and found PINs in some GameCube Nintendo games but not others...

Yes, Club Nintendo (and Nintendo VIP) has been out in Europe longer.
I joined Nintendo VIP in 2003 (when I got my Gameboy Advance SP and Pokémon Ruby), but I got The Wind Waker in 2008, and I could still register it.

While we're on the subject, I wanted to register my old GameCube / Game Boy Advance games anyways - even if not for coins.

These Nintendo published games did not have PINs in my copies. Does anyone know if these simply did not have PINs in the U.S. or if I'm just missing my PIN sheets?:

Baten Kaitos
Animal Crossing
Donkey Konga 2
Donkey Konga
Metroid
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat
Mario Party 4
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Eternal Darkness
Starfox Adventures
Kirby Air Ride
Pikmin
Super Mario Sunshine
Luigi's Mansion
Wario World
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
.....
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
Mario Party Advance
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
Super Mario Advance

Again, just wondering if these should have had PINs that would register them on Club Nintendo / My Nintendo?

Also, I was able to register my GBA (and for some reason it told me I got a warranty extension! :p ) I assume no earlier devices would register? (GB Color / Original / N64)?

I just want to register what I can for cataloging purposes.

Thanks!

It's most likely you miss the PIN's.
You'd either brought it by second hand, or just lost them.
These PIN's can be registered once only.
