The old one. Sure the Lite has longer battery life, but you can play the DS while it charges. And the DS is more durable. This is probably the only thing I agree with Uniju about.

Yes, the DS original is DEFINETELY more durable.

I snapped the top off a Lite a few weeks ago.

The DS Lite is better because it has longer battery life. And that's all I really care about.

Yeah. But recently it threw out my DS games. EVEN IN MID-GAME!

You can play a DS lite when it's plugged in too. Also, Handhelds are designed to be portable, which is why a longer battery life is better.

You'd only need it to be more durable if:
a)You're clumsy
b)You're careless
c)You forget things
d)All of the above.
