Recently Porple proposed that users demonstrate their ideas for the main page, admitting that it was "lacking" in comparison to other Wikis. I don't know if he'll accept this, but I'm hoping that I can get ideas across using a PowerPoint slide turned into a .jpg file.
Before I do this I want to know: what do we want on the main page?

Links to Lists (characters, merchandise, etc.)
Wiki News
Mario News (release date updates, etc.)
The Shroom Section (when the next Shroom is coming, what is planned)

Community Link (to bring forums, chat room, etc. to newbies attention)
