That's already been confirmed. Bass was shown in the anime teaser trailer, where he had a design that's similar to his Battle Network counterpart.

I think they overdid Cut Man's design.

Well, apparently, it's because that's not the original Cut Man. It's supposedly a new generation robot/Reploid that has the ability to copy the appearances and powers of other robots. At least that's what the storyline entails.

That game looks far better than I expected. If/when that game gets released in the U.S., I definitely won't hesitate to buy it.
