Exactly. Until then, I was just dash-punching my way around everywhere. (Although it's debatable as to whether that was any faster than just walking)
 
Yes, that is somewhat of a downfall.
 
My first (and only) game was BIS, and I think it was pretty good. Sicne it was my first ML game (and, heck, my first Mario RPG), I didn't really notice that it was too easy; it was spot-on with difficulty for me.
