The only diffrence is the circles.

That's just the way Nintendo made the pallettes. Besides, I know it doesn't seem impressive, but it's not just recoloring, he's taking the pallette from one sprite and adding it to a completly different sprite, something that takes a keen sense of color. I think he's doing a good job on these.
