and if it sucks,
Alright, I tried to improve my art of a Goomba. Hope you like it!I'm only commenting this because I've noticed you express similar sentiments in other threads; I'd like to encourage you to moderate the self-deprecation. I understand the tendency towards it. It feels more comfortable to preemptively put one's self, one's work, and one's interests down to take some of the sting out of potential criticism or to alleviate some self-consciousness. Most everyone engages in a little self-deprecation on occasion. There's nothing wrong with that much - but it's to slip into self-deprecation becoming a habit, and that ultimately holds a person back.
Even if one's art cannot match what they would like to draw, there is room for improvement over time. Keep drawing unashamedly and challenge yourself to learn something new now and again, and you will improve. Regardless of how quickly or slowly, you can take heart that you are making something with your own hands - and that is, itself, to be celebrated!
Anyhow, how about a drawing of a Goomba?
Here's an attempt on drawing an upside down Goomba. Definitely room for improvement, but I like it.I'm only commenting this because I've noticed you express similar sentiments in other threads; I'd like to encourage you to moderate the self-deprecation.
