Hello there, 'Shroom readers! Does it still feel like the last issue just came out to anyone else? Well, we got a new one anyway. Behold, Issue 218! It's a packed issue with plenty of great sections, plus even more new ones! Be sure to check out Golddude64's The Ghostly Dossier in Fake News, as well as Zange's new Rhythm Heaven section in Strategy Wing! We also have guest sections in several of our teams, as well as a few sections returning from hiatus.
The Fantasy vs. Sci-Fi 'Shroomfest has officially concluded! Which team ultimately emerged victorious, and perhaps more importantly, was it yours? You'll have to read the 'Shroomfest Highlights to find out! Thanks to everyone who participated and kept things respectful, this couldn't have been a success without you.
As a reminder, next month will be our villain-themed summer special issue! It's the perfect opportunity to be a little evil and write some sections themed around your favorite bad guys. Perhaps you'd like to tailor an existing section to the theme, or write a themed one-off (or even start a new section, perhaps?)! We'd love to see whatever you have to send our way, just contact Meta Knight or one of the team directors! Of course, the theme isn't mandatory, we're happy to take a look at whatever you've got for us.
