Convince my Grandparents to Let me Bring Lappy to my moms

OK, this Sunday my mom is picking me up for six weeks and I want to bring my laptop. But, my grandpa won't let me. He doesn't want anyone else to use it. :rolleyes: He also says I can just put the stuff I need on my Flash drive. Yeah, The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, Spore, Call of Duty 5, SBCG4AP, Halo 3, TF2, among other things can fit on a 10 gigabyte Flash drive?

So, I need to bring it because, it's a laptop, and I will let my sister play The Sims 2. I'm not cruel. Plus, that way, I can use the laptop, my mom and sister can use their computer.

I also need him to DVR my Family Guy, Seinfeld, Whose Line, and animu while I'm gone, but....
 
It's your laptop, right? Maybe you should remind them that you should be able to use your own property.
 
Well, he paid for it, but it bought it for me and he doesn't know my password and.

I think it took my parents about half a year to actually let me bring my laptop out of the house.

They won't let him bring it cuz they're afraid his mom will use it. I think that was in the first post...

Yes. But that means he'll need his grandpa to trust him not to let other people use it.

Now, what is this "hard drive" of which you speak? Is it some sort of mountainous, rocky path? Or perhaps a street in a neighborhood? Maybe a sort of golf club?
 
Change the password but don't tell your mom? As I was reading the topic I kind of stopped understanding what the problem actually was.

No, I don't live with my mom and she doesn't know my password. I need to be able to bring it to my moms.
