I think that one of the rules in the community guidelines is stupid; namely, the rule stating that illegal ROMs and MP3s can't be linked to or asked for. But I still follow that rule.
The only difference is that breaking this rule will ban me from the entire website, while what you're doing got you "banned" from a single thread (which, as you're demonstrating, is meaningless).
As stupid as they may be, rules are rules. You can't change that.
