why private schools aren't too great

Now, you may go to a public school thinking "I wish I was in private school." Well, NOTHING changes. Also, this is my opinion so please don't disrespect it and don't start a flame war. Well, first off, eh, you know, NOTHING CHANGES. You still stay in school about the same time as public school, you still have an overload of homework and schoolwork, and there are still the idiots and bullies in private school. Now, I have gone through these experiences, and I may as well tell them on this forum then to my grandkids because they will end up probably playing Smash Bros. with me at 75 years old. (just saying love Smash Bros.) Anyway, one day, a kid in my school called me obese. I have some eating problems, but not THAT bad. I seriously wanted to choke him and stab him a few thousand times, but I knew I couldn't do that. Anyway, that was a short story and I literally wanted to destroy him. That was literally the only story. Anyway, I have a few issues in the school. I'm not that tough, and the only times I cry are when I feel pressured. I am starting to lose that thing of being pressured in my school, but I cry inside, not on the outside. Another problem is that I am not athletic, so when we have recess, I do literally nothing. It's basically lunch, well, without lunch. Also, I forgot to mention that lunch time and recess are still short. Both of them in my school are 30 minutes long each. Honestly, we only get an hour break on normal days. Well, anyway, if you are in public school, don't bother to have you or your parents pay for private school, it won't change at all.

Of course I'm joking, it's a way to show anger. Also, it is emphatically obvious that nobody would do that.
 
I've gone to private school my whole life, so trust me when I say private schools are an amazing experience only if you (not your parents) choose the best one for you. That's the reason why they have Open Houses. Every school is different (there's less standardization). This means some private schools are amazing and some are quite mediocre. For example, where I live, my public school district is extremely strong and better than many private schools in my area.

What's very important is you should always have to have an idea what you want to accomplish by going to private school. Do you want to be challenged academically? Athletically? One school may be strong in the humanities, while another might be strong in the sciences. Each school offers something different. From personal experience, a lot of people (besides those with unfortunate economic issues) eventually left private school because they never had a real reason for themselves to attend private school in the first place. If you don't have a reason to attend a specific school, you're not going to have a great time, and you'll waste thousands and thousands of dollars.

Look, for me, I have classes six days a week and mandatory athletics. Classes are challenging, and although we get one to two hours of free time a day, I spend every minute of it studying. I'm okay with this because I'm motivated by the want for personal success.

And if you gather a close circle of friends, you'll plenty to talk about during recess and lunch. You'll also have people to defend you if you encounter any more bullies.

I dont think anybody expected it to be any different considering that School is School.

It's the same either here or in the lowest , coldest part of the universe.

You have classes , you have friends , you deal with constant social preassure and some people get bullied and etc.

I went to a Catholic School , private and it would have been the same as going to a normal one ... except the part were you needed to attend Church and etc.

Some people are good , others no so much. Now that i'm out of that era of my life , since i'm finishing college now , i can look back and only say to myself and others

That they need to get more positive instead of negative and aside from standing up for yourself , one needs to grow a thicker skin to anything.

My life is not defined by people , i pick a road and go along the way , nobody does that for me.
 
You need to talk to a counselor and your parents because threats of violence are neither funny nor a healthy way of dealing with your anger

Also private schools are at the core a terrible idea because it pushes the belief that education should only be for the rich, making it even harder for people in low income families to break out of the cycle. In the end the school becomes a business and turning a profit becomes more important than quality of education. It's ludicrous.

Everywhere should be like Finland and completely ban profiting off education

You do realize most private schools are actually non-profit, right? The tuition only covers a fraction of what an education actually costs (around 70%). All of private schools' actual "profit" come from the annual fund and alumni donations, and much of this "profit" is oriented towards Financial Aid for students with a low income.

That sounds a little stereotypical, although if it's your honest experience then fine... I'm just going to point out that although there are a few rich students, a lot of the students I go to school with spend most of their income on tuition, meaning they have to sacrifice many, many things in other aspects. From my experience, such "entitled" people are far from the majority.
