for me, SMRPG is like mother 1; the game kinda sucked on its own, but it went on to spawn other beautiful games, which makes playing the original, not as finely-polished game less enjoyable.
meh I dunno this game just doesnt have the same kind of feel that I got from games like TTYD, PiT, and BIS... I know it's older than all of them but eh, I guess I was spoiled by the newer RPG's too much to really be able to appreciate this gameJune said:

mother 1 wasn't really bad either
more enjoyable than the first Final Fantasy (original version) at least (ugh, that game)

welp looks like emulator won out
since I have to spend money to get a good one, however, it might be a while till I get BIS up and running. stay tuned

guys, sorry to disappoint you, but I must go with the phone picture route. imgur is being very uncooperative with my image uploads and does everything out of order, and I honestly do not have the time or patience to manually sort them all back. even then, I would need to edit all of them (and I took like over 100 pictures just for part 1 alone) to get rid of the empty black space and my computer taskbars. it's simply too much of a hassle to do this using an emulator, so I'm going with phone pictures.
again, sorry for any disappointment, but this is my final decision. in the end, all that really matters is commentary anyway; as long as you can make out relatively clearly what the picture is, it shouldn't matter how high quality it is.
Part 1 will be posted tomorrow. stay tuned. - LB
