Registering a game on club Nintendo.

So I recently set up a club Nintendo account and I went to register Smash 3DS. But since it's digital, I can't link it apparently because I bought it before I got my account. Is there a way around this?

just give a call to Nintendo's 1-800-255-3700 (6 am ~ 7 pm Pacific, everyday) Customer Service number, or use their webform to contact them, and one of the service representatives can manually register your eShop game for you

Thanks. I have both games registered now and I will be able to receive the Mewtwo codes come Spring-time. This issue is resolved.
