Broken images

No matter what I do, whenever I put an image URL in a PM, it appears to be broken according to the preview. Can someone help me with this?

It's a file name that is used when I put a picture of Fortune Street Platypunk in a map.


I tried it with other image URL's, but it still won't work. I can't do crap with images, and if I can't use images in PM's, I'll be unable to send out rolecards for Alex Mafia.

The image needs to uploaded to the Internet via Photobucket/imgur/dropbox/etc. and then you can use that url to hotlink it here.

Or if you want the 200px wide version you talk about,

that's not the full url for an image

i believe the url you're looking for is

https://data.archive.moe/board/co/thumb/1347/17/1347174582497s.jpg

don't put the file name in the img tags, put the file location in the img tags

for example

[IMG]200px-Platypunk_FS[/IMG]

is not going to work because it's not linking to a webpage
whereas

[IMG]https://data.archive.moe/board/co/thumb/1347/17/1347174582497s.jpg[/IMG]

becomes

if you want to find an image's location, simply right click on the image and click "copy image location". that should give you the right url

Use this:

[IMG]http://www.mariowiki.com/images/d/d7/Platypunk_FS.png[/IMG]

Or if you want the 200px wide version you talk about,

[IMG]http://www.mariowiki.com/images/thumb/d/d7/Platypunk_FS.png/200px-Platypunk_FS.png[/IMG]
