Anime that made you cry

Those good animes with such tragic plots... Which ones were heartbreakers?

I was sobbing halfway through Mirai Nikki and Elfen Lied was tragic from start to end.

Azumanga Daioh's ending got me like nothing had gotten me in years, or ever since.

Grave of the Fireflies
5 Centimeters Per Second made me sad, but I didn't cry

never really cried

just got teary eyed at fairy tail, code geass, gundam 00, and love live

Not really that sad compared to the other examples(at least for you). But the episode of March of the eggxecutors from pokemon made me unhappy(also angry) because they “killed” Charmander by transforming him into Charizard. I felt I just got amputated when that happened. In my opinion it was a bad move, everyone must know that taking away a trait of a character will ruin the character or it will be too different. You can't make Scooby Doo brave, you can't make emperor Palpatine good, or transform Bowser into a human. Charmander seemed to be able to do awesome stuff or funny stuff, but Charizard/Charmeleon is only violent. Worst for me, I am aware that the series will always keep this ferocious pokemon and will taunt me with it as long the show continues, which is the reason I stopped watching.

Pardon me for my complaints.

Attack on Titan.

The Petra's Father scene was just brutal. I mean, that was just beyond not okay.
This
Free! made me cry many time (s1 ep 12, s2 ep 6, s2 ep 10, s2 ep 13 all made me cry), s2 episode 10 left me a wreck
because of the whole Sousuke's shoulder thing
Both FMA animes made me cry
at the Mae Hugues funeral bit, and some other parts made me cry iirc
Kuroko no Basuke made me shed some tears as well
When Murasakibara cried in episode 50, I cried too
I also cried a little at episode 29 of yowapeda
the TouMaki scene just gave me a stupid amount of feels, it wasn't sad, but it just gave me feels
And the first pokemon movie made me cry when I was a kid, if that counts.
There are probably more, but they come to mind

Speaking of Pokemon movies, forget all the sadness of the first movie, Pokemon Heroes is the saddest Pokemon movie

Latios freaking DIES. Literally dies and doesn't come back to life. Plus the rest of the movie was pretty freaking violent, even for Pokemon. Like why the hell was the movie even rated G?

i don't really cry in movies, but i was certainly overcome with the most intense sadness watching Grave of the Fireflies

Charizard leaves in the Johto series, and becomes good again in the Orange Islands.

Other way around what?

Better than I thought it was about Charizard, but it still bothers me(well less now, thanks to the explanation). Another sad moment is when Butterfree left Ash. Like if putting pokemon in Oak's lab was not good, they find ways to hurt your heart by messing up or ditching pokemon you liked.
Once again my fault for revealing my opinions of this.

But it's the other way around, chronology-wise:
Charizard becomes good again in the Orange Islands and leaves in the Johto series.

I am too manly to cry. Anyway, the Pokemon Movie with the eon duo(a.k.a. Latios Torture Porn) was effed up. Poor Latios(that's my homie too. Seriously), why didn't he have any attacks? He was just tortured then killed and Latias was left behind. Stupid show. Also, that chimera stuff from Full Metal Alchemist was messed up, anime fans will go crazy if you mention that. Oh, and I guess you can count when I laughed so hard that I cried at the Ginyu Force's intro from DBZ.
