The Beast from beauty and the beast will have a object based pokemon such as the chandelier. Because they are similar to the enchanted objects.

Quasimodo has a Geodude because it is made from rock like the gargoyles.

Jasmine has Raikou because tiger.
Genie doesn't have anything, but he hangs out with Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus because genies.
Similarly, Simba hangs out with Entei because lions.
