Viva Happy "ビバハピ"

初音ミクさんが分からない

my translator is awful
was that "Hatsune Miku's do not know"

Roughly, it was "(I) do not understand Hatsune Miku"

thanks for clearing that up
I should look into a better translator

There's no such thing. You have to know that language fully to translate everything correctly.

well thats too bad theres no better translator

I do hope to learn Japanese, but I'm a long way from learning any characters

There's a good tool for learning Japanese, but not to completely rely on it.

It's a Japanese-English English-Japanese Dictionary called Midori, and trust me it is awesome. Sadly, it's $8.00 (and actually normally $10.00), but in my opinion it's worth it.

Plus, there's flashcards for Kanji and Kana, and they're really helpful.

The one con is, there's no romanized letters in the entries, only the Hiragana.

It helps a lot, really.

you can get free japanese dictionaries online though

http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic.cgi?1C

this one is good

It's confusing for me.

I can't even figure out how to search.

I know that, but doesn't it make you search Japanese to English?

Kinda pointless if you need the Japanese word for an English word.

oh, you want to find the japanese...

for that i use http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/ but the interface is all japanese. you have to put it in eiwa (英和) mode

denshi jisho's ok too but i mostly use its kanji dictionary
