I recently finished Banjo Tooie and while controlling this playful bear and rude bird is fun, I always imagined controlling Mario.. Let's use our imagination to convert this game to a Mario game..

Banjo ---> Mario
Banjo's back ---> Mario's super hat
Kazzooie ---> Luma, maybe

Why would you take Kazooie, who is the funnest, bestestest, most awesomest character in any platformer ever, and replace her with a generic Luma? Who would do such a horrible thing?

How about we replace Mario with Kazooie instead? Sounds more fun!
