i.... kind of need help. i dont know how to use those gift card like things where you can get money for the e-shop. can anyone tell me how exactly those things work?

Assuming this is for 3DS:

1. Buy eShop card.
2. Scratch off that silver stuff on the back with a coin/key/fingernail/whatever to reveal a code.
3. Go to "Add Funds" once in the eShop.
4. Redeem a Prepaid Card.
5. Enter the code you revealed.
6. Profit.

If it's for Wii U then I can't help, sorry.

It is same as to Wii U, 1 eShop card work on 2 systems but can't use it at same time
