Is there a way to hook up a GC's A/V stuff to a Laptop?

The one I'm using has a VGA/HDMI, but I'm about 90% sure that is out and not in. So, is there a way to like go in through USB, which is pretty much the only slot left other than Ethernet/power.

Re: GameCube A/V to Computer(Laptop)

I've got a device that allows AV and S-video input, a Zolid High Speed DVD Maker. It came with video software, but that isn't that good. It works with VirtualDub though.

I don't know where on the globe that thing is all sold, I got this thing from ALDI.

This one I'm using,

It work on Mac and PC

If you want to have HDMI, it will cost you about $100, (I'm getting it soon)

You just need a device that can capture input from AV. The one I use (which is also the most recommended 'cheap' one by streamers) is a Dazzle, and it supports multiple regions in 50 and 60hz (you have no idea the trouble I went through to get something that could work with PAL 60 and NTSC-J on Gamecube.)

If you want to stream to Twitch or something, use Xsplit. If you just want to record, you can also use Xsplit but you can also use Virtuldub or something.

Does not take HDMI and sometimes the audio is a bit weird (can be worked around) but other than that it is perfect and it is the best one you can get on a budget. Plugs into your computer by USB.
