FANTASY MATCH: Biollante (Final form) vs Petey Piranha

The return of Fantasy matches! Today, we're having a Kaiju facing off against a Mario character. This was party inspired by FireEevee.

Special Rules:
Both are scaled to the same height (120 meters).

My thoughts:
Petey might be my favorite Mario character, but he can't win this. Biollante's acid is gonna be the end of Petey. Even if he gets a few hits in, Biollante's regeneration will keep her from sustaining in lasting damage.

Post your thoughts below. Same guidelines though. You have to give a reason to support your argument. Don't pick a winner just because you like one as a character more than the other.
 
Wouldn't Petey use his goop piranha plant to try to immobilize Biollante temporarily.

although he wouldn't stand a chance since he's the only piranha plant that can't do fireballs. (sure there are other's who don't breathe fire but if petey had some fire he'd burn biollante possibly since after all plant based life form is weak to fire.)
 
Biollante is already very slow. She doesn't need mobility to fight. If she gets hit with goop, her vines will either impale or bite Petey.

I see but isn't petey made of purely of goop.

we must consider the possibility of Petey becoming goop and then then go back into his normal form... that is he has mastered such thing.

but you're right. Acid will kill him out straight.
 
The tricky thing about Mario characters is that there is no connection between games. Characters don't stay dead. They just inexplicably appear again. If we take that out of the equation, Biollante wins this quickly. Even if he can come back, Biollante will just kill him again.
 
Can this be a topic for fantasy battles in general? I wanted to make a topic like this but didn't know where to put it, and I don't want to spam this board.
