I still would rather have paid 1-5$ one time for the full game, and let me unlock the plants with my own skills in the game instead of my RL money-making skills.LN1 said:Hmmm?Smashgoom202 said:While it sucks that you have to pay for a lot of the plants
Admittedly some of the paid plants are good, but most of the good plants are obtained by normal gameplay anyways.

EA are going off the limits with greed. I'm still going to get this and maybe spend a bit of money on it on some seed slots or plants.
Thing is, I never bought coins in the original game, since you can get them easily if you grind for them, which isn't that hard to do, because the game's awesome and addicting. The Zen Garden also sped things along quickly. With this game, you LITERALLY have no choice to pay up if you want certain plants or upgrades.Purple Yoshi said:nsymon said:EA told Popcap to put all of this overpriced crap in this game.

So, you're just assuming EA is the sole reason for this, with no proof at all? Sure, it's an easy target, but you could buy coins in the original with real money, and you really needed to, because the minigame packages cost an obscene amount of coins.
