It's hard to explain the basic premise but I try: A nerd called "Nick" end up on an island inhabited by Nintend'so C-grade fodders such as Birdo or the player character of NES Golf. Nick has an alter-ego called "Captain Rainbow", who use Yo-yo to attack his enemies. Yeah.

This game also reveal that Birdo, is, infact, a guy.

Discuss.
 
Wow, that was... unexpected. With Francis and 9-Volt, though, Nintendo's sure been recognizing nerd cult recently, though, so it's not too WHOOOOOAAAA, but... This is weird. I may get.
 
This, I'm looking forward to. As a hardcore nerd, I love these Nintendo references everywhere...Also Birdo male? Okay what the heck, Nintendo just decide on a gender already!!! -_-

This seems so much like Chibi-Robo

The music, the way they talk, the art style...

...Well the art style in the beggining with birdo anyway


I can see why since the people who are making this game also made Chibi-Robo.

I didn't know this from the start.

I found about it and edit my post.
 
the dudes that make chibi-robo are making cap rainbow, actually the game is quite interesting, with thoose secondary and almost forgotten characters from nintendo. but, I'm gonna be REALLY ANGRY if the koopalings don't appear in this game

I like the subtle nod to Birdo's gender controversy in the second trailer.

Wasn't Little Mac in Brawl? How'd he gain so much weight since then?
