User Quiz - End: Mario4Ever wins - Thank you for playing!

Re: User Quiz

I would prefer to avoid because I don't see how you would know the things I have in mind about it.

Do some cross section problems, where yo have to do the Integral of R(x)^2 - r(x)^2 and all of that, and maybe have it rotate around the y-axis for fun. (I'm just joking)

What is R(x) and r(x)? I am not sure to understand what do you mean.

Sorry, I mixed Cross Sections and area between two curves into one.

With the area between two curves, we do the integral of R(x) [top function] - r(x) [bottom function]. The square was with the cross sections of the integral of (f(x)-g(x))^2.

Re: User Quiz

I had trouble to see what cross sections square means in French, but I see now.

Re: User Quiz

Fine, I am out of inspiration for the moment so I have sent a math question, I don't think it is too hard but I feel you might not know it. We will see. But if you get it I will avoid to make another.

Question 27 has been sent out.

Re: User Quiz

The attente is over. I can tell you for this question it was a bit different than usually, Mario4Ever sent his response fast while BMB was hesitant and decided to use his 50:50, and was still unsure his response was right. Does that mean this question could be the epilogue of the competion? Do we finally have a winner? Ok stopping blah, the time for results has come! Question 27 was:

gif.latex

The answer was A.

BMB: A (used 50:50)
Mario4Ever: A

Nope, the contestants got right again, well done, the games still continue. Now Mario4Ever has a little advantage on BMB; having pass joker. Hence will Mario4Ever win? Or BMB will make a comeback? Your fate is in your hands, believe in your knowledge.

Re: User Quiz

Cirdec, can you explain why that is Pi/2? I think I understand why, but I just want to double check. I mean, I understand that it was taking the integral to get the arctan, but I didn't really understand from there.

Re: User Quiz

Oh sent you a PM before I saw your post, then if anyone else cares I can post why here.
