Did you like the Super Mario Bros. movie?

Well, I've seen many people say that the Mario Movie stinks because it has King Koopa as a human, Princess Daisy was the princess and not Peach, Mario and Luigi didn't wear overalls, it wasn't based on any Mario game, Yoshi was different, Goombas were giant, and so on.

However, there are still some people who like the movie. So, who here likes the movie, and who doesn't?

PS: I liked the movie.

And then my friend who I was watching it with started asking me questions about the movie.

I felt the movie was kinda so-so, I didn't hate but, I didn't like that much either.

The problem with the Super Mario Bros. movie is that the only people that would really want to see it are the Nintendo nerds. As such, when they actually see the movie, the nerds become really disappointed that the film didn't capture the essence of the video games. The movie is kind of a cult classic now. It's not a bad movie - just not a good Mario movie.

- Make it 3D or animated
- Make Bowser look like Bowser
- Make Lita look like one of Bowser's species
- Make Iggy look like Iggy
- Make Spike look like he really was Bowser's cousin
- Make Yoshi look like a Yoshi
- Make Daisy Peach
- Make the king Peach's dad
- Make Lita pregnant with Bowser's kids
- Make the setting in Dark Land
- Don't make the Mushroom World a huge desert
- Give Mario and Luigi better mustaches
- Have pipes instead of portals
- Explain the Rock better
- Take out the cars
- Don't have Daisy hatch from an egg.
- Have actual Goombas, Koopas, Toads, bob-ombs, bullet bills, castles, fireballs
- Have the SMB game plot happen right at the end of the movie
- Give Daisy's mother a bigger role
- Give Mario and Luigi foster parents in Brooklyn
