Question about the N64 Transfer Pak

Can you save to it like a N64 Controller Pak or not, because I just got a N64 with Mario Kart 64 and I can't save my ghosts to it.

You can't. The Transfer Pak only worked with Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, and the 2 Pokemon Stadium games, I believe. It's only use was to send data to and from N64 and Game Boy games. There is no save capability.

Okay, I was just a bit confused after seeing ghost data on Mario Raceway, which I'm now pretty sure is a staff ghost.
