Well, I'd say it's definitely less known than OoT, and much better, in my opinion.

Personally, the masks and time limits made it less enjoyable than OoT for me. I don't really know why, but they just did. Not that it's a bad game, of course, I just find OoT to be much better. (as well as my favorite game of the series and one of my all-time favorite games period)

Plus if MM was lesser known it wouldn't really be among the top selling N64 games. :P

Also pretty sure more people here like MM better anyway.
