This link explains all.

To put it in short, Viacom wants to charge one billion dollars extra to get the same networks without any choice.

It's unlikely, but Viacom could suspend their channels tomorrow.

I can confirm that they have indeed done that. Right now, Nickelodeon's airing "Kids Mix", what's currently happening on Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC Family, the HUB, Sprout, Cartoon Network, and Boomerang.

Sweet! Now I can watch Phineas and Ferb and My Little Pony at the same time!

I guess the bright side is I can finally watch HUB and Boomerang. Too bad MLP:FIM isn't on right now.

I wonder if this'll have any impact on the Nickelodoeon version of TMNT.

I'm glad I have cable.
Having a different service won't help much. What if Viacom decides to do the same thing for cable next year? What will you do then?

To be honest, apart from T.U.F.F. Puppy and the upcoming TMNT, I think I'm better off without Nickelodeon.

Show like Spongebob have gone way downhill, to the point where they teach kids that crime, being a jerk, and just all-around being brainless is a good thing.

As evidence, check this page.

i'm so glad i have comcast, but i really don't care about anything other than cartoon network

aww fuck man

now i can't watch the daily show or the colbert report
