Andy Griffith dies at 86 from unspecified illness

I was real surprised a thread hasn't been made about this yet.

But yeah, Andy Griffith, star of his namesake show, died yesterday at 86. He was buried on Roanoke Island and died of an unspecified illness they haven't clarified just yet.

Rest in peace, Mr. Griffith. You were a television legend. :'(

I always liked his stuff. Rest in Peace, Mr. Griffith. :(

Never really heard of this guy, but Rest in Peace :'(

What does that mean? And, that's a secret!!!

I never knew him, so I'm a terrible person now?

R.I.P. anyway.

You don't know what the phrase "how do you sleep at night?" means? ._.

Well, this sucks.

Yes, it does definitely suck. Yet another legend passed away.
11.

To sum up who Andy Griffith is to the people who don't know him: he was the star of his own show back in the 1960s called The Andy Griffith Show, along with legendary actor Don Knotts (who has also since passed away).

I've already expressed my sadness to MCS and Stooben about Griffith's passing, but it's still depressing to see any news about this. He was a Patriot.

He's also a Grammy winner and the star of my second favorite show ever Matlock

you don't know who andy griffith is
you don't know what tv tropes is
you don't know what pikmin is

do you even know what anything is

though I guess it's understandable because you're pretty young.

Also, I honestly haven't seen much of the Andy Griffith Show. I did really like his work on Matlock, though.

I FUCKING LOVE MATLOCK

86? I thought he was in his 40's!

Anyway, his book series was ok. A little (ok, a lot) immature at times, but it was funny to me when I was a kid.\

EDIT: Wait, I just found out that I'm talking about a different Andy Griffith. Still, may he rest in peace. :'(

Ironically enough, when I couldn't sleep and there was nothing else on the TV are the only times I've watched the show.

Rest in peace, Mr. Griffith.

A truly sad day in the entertainment world. North Carolina has lost its favorite son.
