The best characters were the father and the old man who loved mooning constantly. That goofy friend of mine I saw the movie with said his favorite scene was the touching, emotional scene at the end. Not only has that been done before, it's been done to death.

I just saw this at the movie theater a couple hours ago! Parts of it were funny, and that emotional part near the end actually made me cry a little.

@Nabber, where?

Saw it on opening night.

It was surprisingly mature for Pixar standards, even taking into account Toy Story 3. It was acted well (once you get past the Scottish accents) and the story was well-crafted and well-paced.

My only complaint is that it was way too fucking short. Seriously? Only 93 minutes?

It felt like 2 hours to me.
