Thank you based god
So, the A's and Mariners had their pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training today, which means baseball season has unofficially started! (Other teams will have pitchers and catchers report in a week since the A's and Mariners are heading to Japan to play a couple games.)

The first games are on March 28 and 29, with the A's playing the Mariners in Japan. On April 4, the new stadium in Maimi opens when the Marlins host the Cardinals. Other teams begin playing on April 5, and everyone is in action by the 6th.

So, any thoughts on your favorite team for this season? Any World Series picks? Any crazy predictions for this season? Discuss them here!

I predict that the Phillies will win it all and make some brilliant move at the deadline that makes Ruben Amaro Jr. look utterly brilliant again.

Also, they're going to have a great record against the Mets and Braves.

Atlanta could be decent, and the Nationals aren't a pushover anymore. NL East will be tough.

I know Atlanta will be decent, they just always have a losing record to the Phillies at Turner Field. Go figure. It'll be tough, but blind faith in Philadelphian sports teams is a quirk of mine. Of course, if they don't suck horribly through interleague play, I'm totally going to be thrown for a loop.
