Should be good. It's unfortunate that the weather can be bad here this time of year, so they don't play at AT&T Park. I'd love to see all the Jewish players choose to play for Israel. Braun and Youkilis in the same lineup would be great. They'd be a bit weak pitching-wise, though.

I don't expect them to come in my neck of the woods either. I think we're both stuck watching on TV. :p

I personally think that Japan is, again, going to be the team to beat Many of the guys from 2009 will be coming back, if they don't retire. They pretty much have an all-star lineup and pitching staff.

Though just getting Israel in the Classic would be awesome. Only problem is they're not locked into the final 16.

Well, of the 16 teams entering the final qualification round, I expect Canada, Taiwan, and Panama to make it. The other spot depends on who chooses to play for which country.

Here are the requirements to join a team:

• The player is a citizen of the nation the team represents.
• The player is qualified for citizenship or to hold a passport under the laws of a nation represented by a team, but has not been granted citizenship or been issued a passport, then the player may be made eligible by WBCI upon petition by the player or team.
• The player is a permanent legal resident of the nation or territory the team represents.
• The player was born in the nation or territory the team represents.
• The player has one parent who is, or if deceased was, a citizen of the nation the team represents.
• The player has one parent who was born in the nation or territory the team represents.

Pretty easy to join another country.
