Question for All Who Make Comics (with sprites in them)

I use MS Paint and then sometimes touch stuff up and add some effects and whatnot with GIMP.
 
Basically the same thing. I put the backgrounds on a frame, then the sprites, and then the speech bubbles. Mostly Paint and GIMP.
