I honestly can't figure out why the f*ck Ninji wants us to waste space(a valid problem) instead of... bumping old topics(which has no negative effects on anyone). Is it some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder thing?

While bumping topics saves space, it might angers people. Sometimes more than moderately.

WHY would it anger people? Wastefully making new topics for things angers ME.

The locking of topics containing useful information and posts just for the heinous crime of being old angers me. Age discrimination anyone?

Here's my opinion on the matter. 30 days is a bit too short of a time period in my opinion; 60 days seems more fitting. It gives that subject 2 months to be revived, so long as it is a useful post. (Something that actually provides usefulness to the topic. Something like "THIS GAEM ROCKZ" would be a no-no, but a descriptive opinion or statement that's on topic would be fine.) I've been to a lot of forums over the past 8 or so years; out of all of them, we're one of the strictest forums I've been to. (I remember one place that had a 1 week bumping policy...) Most places averaged 45-90 days though. And a few places didn't care.

Well, 60 days would certainly be an improvement, but I would like it if we were one of the forums that "didn't care".
