Everyone agrees that the Mario movie preety much sucked, but how SHOULD it have been done?

Have characters and species actually resemble what they're supposed to be, and do away with the whole "Koopas are humans that evolved from dinosaurs" crap.

All in all, it should have been less <bleep>ing retarded, and more Mario-ish. >________>

I enjoyed the original live-action movie in a"So bad it's good" sort of way.

I enjoyed the original anime movie as well, though it never received a proper translation.

I think, especially seeing the fancy CGI intros to the Mario sports games, a Mario movie done entirely in 3D animation could be very cool.

If you simply regard the movie as completely disconnected to the games, it's OK.

No, no, no, no, NO.

I do not hate Japanese animation. For all I know, it's awesome.

I simply do not like the anime style. Ick.

Demons, devils, bleh.

I prefer stuff that's not so dark. So sue me.

OK.

Thanks for the correction.

I am so a nerd.

I simply do not like the Japanese demon-hunter-style genre.

The art style roxorz j00r soxorz.
