For some reason everything from Granny Smith's youth looks like the middle ages. But who cares, it's a cartoon, it doesn't have to make sense :P

This episode was very cute. I don't really have much more to say about it. Also am I the only one who noticed that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon have become generally nicer since their first appearances?

It would actually be nice to see more of the secondary characters. This episode was sweet (except Diamond Tiara, now I hate that bitch even more), and geriatric humor is something that I personally always liked.

I actually thought she was generally nicer this episode than in earlier ones. At first she seemed to bully Apple Bloom every time they met, but now she's shown to also be able to act normal towards her (she didn't even laugh at her for wearing the bunny costume). Aside from her freak-out at the end, but you could see she was just hurt at what Apple Bloom said about her father.

The fact that Silver Spoon clapped after hearing Granny Smith's story helps a theory that I like to believe that it's more so Diamond Tiara then Silver Spoon.

BTW, it was nice to hear Big Mac say something other than "Eeyup" or "Nope", even if it DID only say it with Applejack and Apple Bloom in unison.

Lol, so I wasn't the only one thinking that :P

That was a very nice episode.
First of all: Filthy Rich. Lol.

The history was a nice thing. I really like the Zapapples even if it was a bit creepy. The CMC were better in this episode.

About cutie marks; apparently Granny Smith had hers as a young filly. After this episode, I was kind of expecting Applebloom to get her mark except of course the point is that the CMC don't.

I keep forgetting but we know Episode 16's sypnosis now.

Season 2 Episode 16: Read It and Weep
Summary: Rainbow Dash secretly discovers the joys of reading when she's laid up in the hospital.
Air Date: February 4, 2012

This I think has the potential to be a Twilight/Rainbow Dash duo episode. Which would be really neat as we don't get much between these two. Though I wonder what brings Rainbow Dash of all ponies to the hospital considering she's crashed quite a bit few times and seen fine moments later (Even if well you can account that to Cartoon healing powers or something)

...
This is a must see episode. I will make sure that I can see it when it premiers.
But isn't this her third or fourth episode this season?

True but at least this one promises less of showing off that ego. Because no offense to those who like Dash alot her ego was a bit grating in both those episodes. Especially Mysterious Mare-Do-Well. And hey with the whole reading thing, maybe Twilight will finally have a friend to read books with her. Even if it's someone as unexpected to be interested into that like Rainbow Dash. (This will probably be fuel for any TwiDash shippers, not that I care too much about shipping)

Also we do know the title of Episode 17. It's called "Hearts and Hooves". However we don't have a sypnosis yet. But from what we can gather, it sounds like a Valentines Day episode.

Shippers are going to go wild.
Anyways, I loved that episode. I liked the frontier style clothing the ponies in the flashback had too.
