So, how many of those rainbow Macguffins have they gotten so far? Cause they're going to use them to get that random ugly powerup thing, right?

...I know I've still only seen four episodes, but did I really miss this much? As far as I can remember the Elements are locked up safely inside the Tree of Ass-Pulling.
 
Apparently, random items are the keys because they focus on them at the end of an episode and they glow or something.

And that ugly powerup IS going to happen because it looks like it's in the new Equestria Girls movie. Of course. *sigh*
 
Watched s4 e7.

My favorite s4 episode so far, with a close second being the castle one. When it first started, I thought it was going to be "ponies learn about racism", but then it went the complete opposite direction and became an awesome vampire movie parodic episode.

The motifs and nods to vampire movies were awesome, there was a good message, and an awesome song to go with it. Not to mention the "or is it?" moment at the end. I really enjoyed that one.

My only concern is, again, fan pandering; its seems to me I've seen quite a bit of fanmaterial with batponies/fluttershy as a vampire even before s4. The quality of the episode more than makes up for it, though.
