Other then being my local team, the franchise's history, tradition, and class has been top-notch then almost every other team. Even when they fail to get to the Finals they're still upholding the longest current Playoff Streak of any Sport in the nation and overall has fielded the most talented teams in history from the days of Gordie Howe in the 50's to the gritty team with a big heart in the late 90's to the overwhelmingly talented 2001-2002 team.
