I do enjoy free stuff but the way Nintendo does it is unappealing. It always ends up resulting in a game that feels lacking in content and then by the time the update is released I don't care because I stopped playing since I already did everything the game had to offer in such a short time...
You said he likes marvel and star wars stuff so I'm going to make the assumption he likes things with lots of action. You also mention that he has seen Totoro and Ponyo but you don't mention if he likes them or not. There is definitely not as much action in those films. That's not that it's a...
Everything in bold is something that I've played at least one game in the franchise of (which really I didn't need to do that because it's basically all of this). Other than that I've played Animal Crossing, Earthbound, F-Zero, and probably other things that aren't listed on here
I'm someone that has been a massive fan of TMNT since I was a kid, so this was a day 1 buy for me.
If you do not like beat em ups, then this game isn't for you. However, as someone that does enjoy the classic arcade games as well as TMNT in general, this game is amazing. Obviously people that...
Option 3, but considering Martinet does Mario and Luigi and Wario and Waluigi among other characters they would need to find 1 person that can seamlessly do all of them (unlikely) or hire multiple people.
An alternative is for them to use the cast of the Mario movie depending on how well it...
If you're unable to get 12 in the timeframe that you want to host this game, I would personally suggest trying to get one more person and have a smaller game of 8. It might not be the minimum you want but at least that way you wouldn't have to cancel it. You can do whatever you want though this...
I'm also looking forward to this game as well as the cowabunga collection. I've been a TMNT fan since I was a little kid so it's nice to see it come back in the gaming sphere like this
Super Mario world is a good game
(I actually think it's an amazing game but lessening the weight of a positive/negative word makes it more likely to be agreeable with a wider array of people)
I used to think this way during college but I decided to relearn it recently on a whim and it's not too bad honestly. It doesn't have much of a practical use I'm aware of though. However I completely understand people looking at something like this and wanting nothing to do with it.
This extends to all Nintendo music and not just Mario but, my Nintendo switch is not an iPod. I know that's how they want me to listen to their music on the go or whatever but literally anything else would be better
I saw a comment saying that scarlet and violet could be referring to different spectrum of light (infared and ultraviolet light). No idea the validity of this but it could be an interesting idea, especially if they went all out with the potential for it.
The cast reveal in the Nintendo direct was one of the most legendary shitposts I've ever seen. I have no interest in the movie, but the meme potential is going to be very entertaining to witness
I posted this in other places but instead of reviving my old art thread with things I don't like anymore I'll go ahead and just use my profile instead I guess.
Lethe - Fire Emblem
I wouldn't be surprised either, which is why I present to you the Ten Commandments - According to Google:
1. You shall have no other gods before Google.
2. You shall make no idols, especially in the name of Facebook.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your Alphabet Inc. in vain.
4. Keep...
Any type of password system or secret code in virtual console games (i.e. Castlevania 4's password system, the Link's Awakening book path) I would store in the game notes and go back and forth just so I had it handy. Additionally any kind of memory game that had a significant amount of cards and...
1999 for me also. I remember things from both 2000s and 2010s so I grew up in both and wouldn't discredit either for my answer. The former I spent my formative years and the latter I grew from a tween/teen to the person I am now.
My favorite is Peanut because she was one of the first villagers to be in my GameCube town, then again in City Folk and New Leaf (never really played Wild World). That kind of luck is crazy and she happens to be someone with a good design and personality.
Favorite special NPC is K.K. Slider...
Chocolate Island 2 from Super Mario World. I think that an in-depth analysis of the mechanics in that stage would be informative and pretty great. It's probably one of the most unique levels in Mario's arsenal.
If you want to be cheap you could just use Stone. It's very long and tedious that way but it's a guaranteed win if you're careful. Hammer is also really good, using the dash attack with it makes you invincible until you stop spinning, so this is also useful.
