That's definitely how he's portrayed in the Mario movie, which I thought was a good move. But I didn't really like the combination of Hint Toad and Toadsworth.- Hint Toad

Toad is a legend. Without Toad or the Toad species, we would never get characters like: Blue Toad, Toadsworth, Toadette, Captain Toad and the Toad brigade. And all the other wacky toads from the RPGs. I even made my username after my favorite toad, Hint Toad!- Hint Toad

If you are looking into drawing things digitally then I would definitely recommend Krita for raster art. Actually, I lean towards not using any digital tools for drawing my line art. Well, it's the same type of hat that Popeye wears, which I assume is a fisherman cap. Mario's design is a mix between Popeye's head and Micky Mouse's body. I was actually quite shocked to see such similarity.- Hint Toad
