I love drawing Mario characters and I decided to start a dedicated thread for posting my artworks of them. I also thought that other users can post their Mario fanart too! However, in order to keep this family friendly, no inappropriate content allowed.
I'll start with these two drawings I did...
I can totally understand that but maybe a movie would fully explain his true backstory. Perhaps instead Kirby comes to Earth in this movie and needs help to return to Pop Star.
I like this game, too. I made it to the point where you're on the run from Tubba Blubba (I think that's his name lol) and you've teamed up with Lady Bow. I do want to beat it tho.
Anyway, the game I last played is Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It's definitely my favorite non Mario game right...
The live action Super Mario Bros film is a fever dream and not necessarily in a good way. The Koopa Troopa is mostly human and their animal forms are creepy. The 2023 animated movie was an amazing redemption and will likely continue a NCU (Nintendo Cinematic Universe lol) after the Galaxy Movie.
I have the case from a candy thing from Nintendo of NYC, the Super Star design. It initially came with similar candies to those in the video, but after finishing those off, it can just be filled with mints or something.
(Also why is it just a video of him eating the Mario candies lol?)
I don't think Peach is going to be kidnapped ever again with the new character direction set by the Super Mario Bros. Movie. I hope 2D Mario stays like Wonder as, though I love the classic format of the NSMB series, I love the wild and unexpected way that Wonder is (making it my favorite 2D...
I would like Yellow Toad and Blue Toad to be depicted as their reference counterparts in the Super Mario Bros. Movie. I think they could be fleshed out as two goofy sidekicks to Mario and Luigi.
I noticed that most of the new enemies from Super Mario Bros. Wonder that only had Japanese names now have their English names mentioned on the Wiki. This has probably been the case for quite some time but does anyone know when these were updated?
I just learned today that the Mario Party 10 minigame "Fruit of the Doom" is known as "Fruit Fetch" in the UK. Honestly, I like the American name better simply because it's a funny spoof of a very real brand.
It only won one award, it didn't win best overall. Also, Gamexplain said that it was surprising that it got the award for "Best Family Game" and not Mario Kart World.
*If there was a shrugging emoji I'd being using it now but there's not*
The new clip just came out and I just can't help but chat about it! I love how Luigi is taking an active role in the sequel and is a perfect partner for Mario! He's just so confident! The next thing I want to see is him using powerups (aside from the Super Star in the first movie) especially the...
Out of curiosity, does anyone know of any secrets from Mario Kart Wii? I don't own this game, but have watched gameplay of it. The last time I watched any gameplay of it, I did not pay attention to secrets from it.
Not a huge fan of Lanky Kong since according to the DK RAP: "He has no style, he has no grace, this Kong has a funny face!" His ability is blowing up like a balloon (which Mario and co. can already do), and his face is sort of creepy to me. I'm perfectly alright if Nintendo is trying to forget...
I remember someone in a YouTube video (can't remember who said it lol) asking why Prince Florian has never worn a badge before despite badges being a Flower Kingdom speciality. That is actually a very fair point.
Perhaps they wanted a quicker way to travel? I mean, it doesn't make 100% sense since they have Sunshine Airport which must obviously connect to other airports in the world, including the Mushroom Kingdom...
I hadn't seen anyone do this, and Sonic is my second favorite game franchise after Mario, so I'm ready to know! For me, it's a tie between Blaze the Cat and Knuckles the Echidna.
It's not necessary for most first party games, right? I'm planning on saving up and getting a 3ds in the future, and I don't really want to have to buy a Circle Pad Pro.
I played a little of Mario 64 (it was the first Mario game that got me into the franchise), never beat it, but I did play the section Cool, Cool Mountain. I don't remember if I did this, but did any of you drop the baby penguin off a cliff like in this fan animation by GearBills on YT...
Mario's Early Years games were more of an experiment in my opinion. It proved that Mario could exist in different forms, but on the other hand, it had a very niche audience considering a lot of toddlers probably weren't even interested in Mario. At least in my situation, I wasn't interested in...
